The Princess has finally arrived!!!!!

After Kendra had a small pocket of fluid leak in the bathroom and after three hours she finally decided to tell me. Before she did though we walked around BYU Idaho campus, spoke to her counselor and filled the car up with gas. She finally told me as we walked through the doors to our apartment and I immediately brushed it off. Her mother persisted that we go (thank heavens for that!) and come to find out Kendra had a high water leak.

Free pop, extremely cheap but good hospital food, walks all over the hospital, and the most uncomfortable reclining chair I have ever sat in and we were about to have Kennedy. About 7 hours into it we were hopeful that Kennedy would be here within an hour or so. 14 hours later and still no baby so Kendra received a C section from the doctor.

It was a somewhat scary but awesome experience (now that it's over). I was able to watch the doctor pull baby Kennedy out of my wife's stomach which was actually pretty sweet. My brother E-wok...I mean Tyler pointed out that it is kinda disgusting unless it is your own.

Kennedy is a very beautiful girl! She has a dark complexion and quite a bit of hair on her head. Maybe my dad will hold her since she wont look too much like an alien. They put her hair in a little mohawk and she was turning the baby boys heads so fast she almost broke their necks. Luckily she got her daddy's nose so the boys didn't turn their heads too fast.

Here are a few pictures of the whole process:

We are soooo grateful that our Heavenly Father has blessed us with such a beautiful baby girl. We are both so happy and can not wait to see her grow!

Change:)

Its been a while since I have posted anything so I just thought I would catch everyone up on our lives! Since Spring semester ended Kelin has been working at the call center and we have been able to spend alot of quality time together haha. It has been a nice 7 week break and we have had so much fun just being together and living are lives. Fall semester is starting soon and Kelin will be taking classes online. I was planning on returning back this Fall to get my bachelors (4 semesters left!) but I will be having our baby in November and finals are in December so that plan was squashed. While I am becoming very antsy waiting on this baby I am taking comfort in the fact that I only have 2 more months left! I love being busy and I havent been able to work or go to school so I am becoming extreemly stir crazy! Thank heavens for my sweet husband who takes such great care of me. Things will change this semester with Kelin who just got a new job as a caterer (no more call center woo hooo) taking classes, and looking for another part time job. I know the Lord will bless him and our family and everything will work out for the best. Rexburg Idaho is great and all but it will sure be nice to graduate and move somewhere sunny:) hopefully haha! Kelin and I will have met exactly a year ago from this coming Wednesday. I cant believe how fast time has gone and we are so grateful to have found one another! From the moment I met Kelin I knew that I loved him and its been the best year of my life being able to be together constantly. We are so excited for baby Kennedy to come and to start our little family. Fall time is my favorite time of the year and I cant wait for this coming Fall. Baby will just make it that much more fun and exciting.

"Family Is Of God"

My new favorite church song that does not put me to sleep. Here is a link to the song:

"The Family Is Of God"

1. Our Father has a family. It’s me!
It’s you, all others too: we are His children.
He sent each one of us to earth, through birth,
To live and learn here in fam’lies.
[Chorus]
God gave us families to help us become what He wants us to be—
This is how He shares His love, for the fam’ly is of God.

2. A father’s place is to preside, provide,
To love and teach the gospel to his children.
A father leads in fam’ly prayer to share
Their love for Father in Heaven.
[Chorus]

3. A mother’s purpose is to care, prepare,
To nurture and to strengthen all her children.
She teaches children to obey, to pray,
To love and serve in the fam’ly.
[Chorus]

4. I’ll love and serve my family and be
A good example to each fam’ly member.
And when I am a mom or dad, so glad,
I’ll help my fam’ly remember:
God gave us families to help us become what He wants us to be—
This is how He shares His love, for the fam’ly is of God.

Baby girl!

Kelin and I went to one of our 2 doctors appointments this week and weren't expecting to find out the sex of the baby today! I ended up having an ultra sound however, and we are having a baby girl! At first Kelin was very quiet and I knew he was a little dissapointed..we really thought that the baby was a boy! We had lunch at Olive Garden after and he seemed like he was getting warmed up to the idea. I know that he will be the best daddy to our little girl because he already treats me like a queen and little Kennedy will be his princess. As soon as we were done with the appointment we went to target and bought her a little outfit! I feel so blessed and excited to be starting a family with the man I am so in love with. Everyday I just feel more and more excited about it all. I am truly grateful to live the life I do. Its the people you spend your time with in life that makes it worth while and happy. Material things are not what makes a person truly happy and this is a lesson I have learned since I have been married.

Here are all of the fun things we plan on getting Kennedy:) I spent my whole afternoon looking at cute baby things for our little princess!

California Trip/Summer:)

Kelin and I just had the opportunity to visit my family in California! We actually got to see the sun for the first time in 3 months! haha that really is almost the truth. We spent the majority of our 3 days out at the pool and by the beach. One of the main reasons we came to California was to attend my sister Christine's high school graduation. She graduated with honors and we were very proud of that chick! Love my family! We spent much time in the sun like I said and we both fried our shoulders and are experiencing the consequences of that with our peeling shoulders! At least we are both really dark now! It was a much needed trip for me at least because I cannot live without the sun. I learned that Kelin is quite the swimmer and spent most of his time swimming in my parents pool, even when the water was freezing haha. The night we arrived in California my mom and grandma through Kelin and I a baby shower. It was very fun and made both of us very excited for the baby! The outfits we were given were adorable and I cant wait to dress my baby up in lots of cute outfits! When we returned to Idaho it was back to reality with Kelin going to school and we both began to look for work. Kelin found a temporary job at the call center and I am very proud of him. We all know their is no way I would be able to last there because I tried last winter and failed. I didnt even make it to my first day of work before quitting lol. Kelin isnt as sensitive as me though and because of his missionary experience can take rejection. We are both doing very well and each day we spend together I love him more and more. He is my best friend and marrying him has been the best decision of my life. He makes me the happiest girl in the world and treats me like a princess everyday!

Happy:)and BABY NEWS!

Kelin and I have been having a lot of fun being back in are new apartment this Spring semester. Our lives have been very eventful and full of happy news(mostly)! We are expecting a sweet little baby in November and we couldn't be happier! We are dying to know the gender of the baby and already have names picked out for each gender. We are dying to know the sex of the baby! Kelin is hoping we have a boy so that we can be the first to have a boy in his family of all brothers. I think it would be a blast to have either gender! If its a boy I will have much adjusting to do having grown up with 2 other sisters. We will know in 7 weeks what gender the baby is. So far I have had a great pregnancy only feeling sick on some occasions. My belly isnt showing yet its just a little bump. Kelin has been doing great is school so far and loves his classes. He is going to accounting and is loving everything about it! I am so proud of him:) I have been working at Subway for the past 3 months and honestly it has been an experience. I am not used to being around people who do not know how to treat other people. One of the bosses leaves notes around the store for people calling them retarted. Haha as funny as that may sound its not so funny when you are being labeled the retard and this person is not joking. I recently was layed off last Thursday and this was really a blessing in disguise. I have tried my hardest to be a positive influence their and make the best out of that job but honestly their was just too big of a personality difference between me and the other employees. I will be there for 2 more weeks and then be a stay at home prego women while my sweet hubby works part time while going to school. While this has been difficult we both know it is for the best and will benefit are family greatly! I have found that you really just need to find joy in the journey! I have absolutely loved being married and we have been so blessed and had so much fun! We are truly happy=]

Finally!

After being married for 4 months I thought it was about time to post our first blog! So much has happened since we have been married and we have been very blessed. Kelin and I met here in Rexburg while attending BYUI and we instantly hit it off. We got married this past January 2nd in the Bountiful temple. I absolutely love being married to my great husband. Recently Kelin is going to school while I work at the local Subway near campus. I just recently received my associates in elementary ed and Kelin is working hard at getting his batchelors in accounting. We have found that we love to do almost anything as long as were together! Being in the sun and doing anything outdoors is always at the top of are lists! This is one of the reasons that I am so excited to go to California in May for my sisters high school graduation. It will be a blast and I cant wait to take Kelin to the beach. We just got back from visiting Kelin's parents in Chicago and that was a blast! We got to relax and spend time with his family. We were definitely grateful for that! After Kelin gets his associates we hope to move to some place warmer than Rexburg which wont be hard to find! But we will have to see! So far we are just living and LOVING are lives as newlyweds.   Here are some pictures of us together!

Us in front of the temple doors!

Pretty Picture!

DA BEARS!

Us at the movies when we watched the new Twilight!  That is Kelin's sexy tongue!
